Assuming that you do not mean Stratford-upon-Avon, Stratford Station in East London, is adjacent to Station Street. It is a relatively large and complicated station with 13 platforms serving main line and suburban trains, underground (subway) trains and Docklands Light Railway trains. It is the designated station for people visiting the 2012 London Olympics main events. The other train station in Stratford is Stratford International. This station is adjacent to Waterden Road and is on the Brussels or Paris to London St Pancras high speed line. Bizarrely in spite of its name, Eurostar international services do not call there ! Stratford International is only served by high speed South Eastern trains from Dover, Canterbury, Thanet and North Kent. Stratford-upon-Avon Station's location follows the old British tradition of siting the station a long way from the town to get it closer to where the lines are. It is to the west of the town, adjacent to Station Road (off Alcester Road) about three quarters of a mile away from The Royal Shakespeare Company's Memorial Theatre which is near to the town centre. There are current proposals for a new station north of the town which will probably be even further away. Literally across the road from the college. Its in the centre of Stratford ajoining the shopping mall, bus station and Stratford Broadway Auto parts : Water/Methanol Injection Kit Acura 1995 . Interior Styling Alfa Romeo 1996 . Porsche . How to Wire a Car Horn RelayA car horn relay is nothing more than a "remote light switch" from an electrical standpoint. The relay is normally open with power from the battery to the relay and from the relay to the horn. The horn is grounded to the frame. The other two terminals are used for the remote activation. The second power terminal can share the power from the primary input terminal. The secondary ground terminal travels to the horn button. The horn button grounds the relay allowing power to flow through the activation circuits which in turn close the primary circuits allowing power to flow through the horn and to its ground on the frame. Difficulty:Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Box of assorted electrical terminals Crimping tool Set of wrenches Step by Step : 1 Locate a place for the relay on or close to the radiator support shroud. Bolt the relay solidly to its intended location. 2 Connect a wire from the battery to the battery+ terminal of the relay, using the appropriate terminal for the battery and a spade terminal for the relay. Connect a wire with a spade terminal to the horn terminal on the relay and run the wire to the horn battery+ terminal using a spade terminal for the connection. 3 Connect the horn ground to a suitable ground on the frame. 4 Connect another wire to the ignition+ terminal of the relay from either the battery or ignition switch accessory terminal. If the wire is connected to the battery the horn will work with the ignition off. If attached to the ignition accessory circuit it will work only when the ignition key is on. For a battery connection, it is better to cheat and install a short wire from the battery+ relay end of the wire to the ignition+ terminal. Just put both wires into the battery+ spade terminal. 5 Connect the wire from the horn to the ground-side of the relay.
Porsche . How to Wire a Wolo HornWolo horns are available as aftermarket accessories for most vehicles from over the road semi trucks to your everyday car. Wolo has been in business since the mid nineteen sixties and is a major producer of all types of horns, including train horns and musical horns that play popular tunes such as Dixie or La Cucaracha. A Wolo can be installed as a supplemental horn or can completely replace your vehicle's factory installed horn. Installation is straight forward and can be completed with regular tools in a short time. Difficulty:Moderately Challenging Instructions Things You'll Need Electric drill 1/8 inch drill bit Philips screw driver Fuse box terminal adapter Step by Step : 1 Install the horn relay (included with horn kit) near the horn compressor with the electrical connectors pointing downward. Hold the relay in the desired location and use a pencil to mark the relay's mounting holes. Set the relay aside and use an electric drill with a 1/8 inch drill bit to drill holes in the marked area. Attach the relay by turning in the attaching screws (included with horn kit) in a clockwise direction with a Philips screw driver. 2 Mount a horn button (not included with horn kit) in the desired location inside the passenger compartment using the instructions that come with the horn button. 3 Connect the horn relay terminal marked "87" to the positive terminal on the horn compressor with the wire included by pushing the wire connectors onto the terminals by hand. 4 Connect the horn relay terminal marked "85" to the horn button terminal with the wire included by pushing the wire connectors onto the wire terminals. Connect the ground wire from the horn button (included with the horn button) to a metal part of the vehicle's body under the dashboard. Drill a hole with a drill and 1/8 inch drill bit and attach the wire to body using the screw provided. 5 Connect horn relay terminals marked "30" and "86" to a twelve volt power source in the vehicle, such as the accessory slot in the vehicle's fuse box. Connect the wire connectors to the wire terminals by pushing them on by hand. Connect the other end of the wire to the fuse box using a fuse box terminal adapter (available at auto parts stores). Tips & Warnings If the supplied wires with the horn kit or horn button are not long enough for your application, replace the wires with 16 gauge automotive wiring available in auto parts stores. Wiring may be available for purchase by the foot or sold in precut spools available in several different lengths. If you are replacing your vehicle's original horn with a Wolo horn, do not use the relay supplied with the Wolo horn kit. Merely connect the Wolo horn to the vehicle's original horn wiring connectors. True, you have to tell your car when to go and when to stop, and you have to steer it in the proper direction and keep it in good running order, but any vehicle is basically a set of wheels with an engine to turn them. The internal combustion engine, which still forms the "heart" of most vehicles, is a lightweight, fairly efficient, and relatively uncomplicated piece of machinery. It works on a mixture of gasoline and air to produce enough power to turn a shaft that turns the wheels. The basic gizmos on your car are simply the things that bring the fuel and air together in the proper quantities, ignite them, and channel the resulting power to the wheels. All the rest of the stuff is there to make this happen with ease and efficiency, to provide you with some control over what's going on, and to give you a place to sit and to stow your groceries. For a look at the future, check out the alternatively fueled vehicles described in Chapter 7. Part II: What Makes It Go?. In this chapter, I give you a brief overview of how each of the basic systems in a vehicle with a standard internal combustion engine functions and how these systems work together to make the vehicle run. Don't worry about what model you own; every vehicle with an internal combustion engine Porsche . Where can I find the Tech Spec and Mod List for Hi-Octane's S15 Drift Car?
Chevrolet G-Series 2500. * works on the same principles. By viewing your vehicle as a series of simple systems, each with a specific job to do, you can stop seeing it as a dismaying collection of wires, hoses, and gizmos and be able to deal with it easily and confidently. Once you've gotten a general idea of how things work, the rest of the chapters in Part II explore each system in detail. When you've become familiar with how a system functions, you're ready to tackle the chapter in Part HI that shows you how to work on that system. Every car manufacturer makes sure to do something a little bit differently than the competition does so that it can get patents and say that its vehicles are the best. Also, the location and looks of the engine and transmission in rear-engine cars and front-wheel drive vehicles are different from those with traditional front engines and rear-wheel drive. Therefore, if any part of your vehicle is not exactly where it is in the pictures in this chapter, don't panic. Believe me, the part is in there someplace, or your car wouldn't go. If you have trouble finding something, your owner's manual should have a diagram (which was probably gibberish to you until you bought this book) showing the location of each principal part. You can also ask a friend who has a similar vehicle, or your friendly automotive technician, to point out these "missing" parts. I'm willing to bet, however, that if you read this chapter carefully with an eye on your own vehicle, you can locate almost all the parts yourself. / Although you certainly don't need them to get through this book, it's good to have both an owner's manual and a service manual for every vehicle you Porsche . Service manuals are also available for every vehicle, and I strongly suggest that you get one of these as well. Every auto repair facility cannot stock a service manual for each year, make, and model of every vehicle, and if you lend your service manual to an inde pendent service facility that is working on your car, you can save money by reducing the time it would take them to figure out the proper way to repair it. Also, if you get to the point where you want to do more than basic repairs, one of these manuals will be indispensable. The drawings in service manuals show you where every little screw and washer fits so that you won't end up Porsche . What were cars like in 1915?
